Use Ramadan to pray for Ghana to overcome the COVID-19 Pandemic- Mr James Maurice Abakisi.


The Npp parliamentary candidate for the Builsa North constituency Mr. James Maurice Abakisi has charged the Muslim youth in the constituency to use this period of Ramadan to pray for the country to overcome the COVID-19 Pandemic. 
The parliamentary candidate said this when he together  with the DCE for Builsa North Mr. David Amoabil Afoko the Npp constituency chairman Mr. Albert Atuga the Nasaara Coordinator of the party and other constituency  members of the Npp met with a section of the Muslim youth in the Builsa North District of the Upper East Region to interact with them in the wake of the COVID-19 Pandemic amidst the Ramadan. 


Mr. James Maurice Abakisi asked the youth to unite and take advantage of the many opportunities available to develop themselves. 
The DCE for Builsa North Hon.David Amoabil Afoko revealed that the Builsa North Agric department this year will be embarking on a cashew plantation project and hence advised the youth to register their names in order to benefit from the project in order to improve on their lot.
He also revealed that, government through the Rural Enterprise project will soon be disbursing funds to youth with entrepreneurial skills but lack start up capital to enable them start their own businesses. 
He also announced that very soon, the Builsa North District will have a military base which will go a long way to boost the security situation in the District as some military authorities  visited the District last week with a military helicopter to have a look at the proposed site for the military base. 
The group later presented a cash amount of GHS 600.00 six hundred Ghana cedis and four bags of sugar to the youth to support them in their Ramadan fasting.
