I AM VERY GRATEFUL TO MY PEOPLE HOME AND ABROAD FOR STANDING SOLIDLY WITH ME IN THE FIGHT AGAINST COVID-19. NAB.AZAKSUK.

Members of Ti Yiak COVID-19 Tigsuk
Presenting Items to Elder of Nab. Azaksuk Azantilow II at his Palace.

The overlord of the Builsa Traditional area Nab. Azaksuk Azantilow II has expressed gratitude to all Builsa’s home and abroad especially the Ti-Yiak Covid-19 Tigsuk a whatsApp group of Builsa’s living in and outside Buluk for the immense support, love, affection and patriotism given to him and his subjects in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The overlord added that he is the happiest King to have seen his people united behind him and leading the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic devoid of political or religious inclinations.
He said this when Ti-Yiak Covid-19 Tigsuk a whatsApp group of Builsa’s living in and outside Buluk extended their sensitization on Covid-19 to his palace on Wednesday 29/04/2020.
The overlord said, he will meet with the two DCE’s and relevant stakeholders to put forward the concerns raised by his sub-chiefs and well-meaning Builsa’s in order to find an amicable solution to them and ameliorate any possible spread of the Covid-19 disease to the Builsa Traditional Area.

Mr Richard Alando the Executive Director of FISTRAD and Radio Builsa said his outfit is happy to associate itself with the exercise being embarked on by the Ti-Yiak Covid-19 Tigsuk.
He said, FISTRAD and Radio Builsa being community development advocates has over the years sensitised the people of Buluk on many developmental issues and see the sensitization being embarked on by the Ti-Yiak Covid-19 Tigsuk as adding up to what the Radio Station has already started since the outbreak of the disease hence the need to team up with the group  at achieving the needed result.
Mr Alando appealed to the Overlord and his sub chiefs as well as Builsa’s to help disseminate the preventive measures of the Covid-19 disease to their subjects saying ‘’ we can do the talking but it is up to you and all Builsa’s to put into practice what is being preached by the  Ti-Yiak Covid-19 Tigsuk and Radio Builsa''.

Mr Akandawen Martin, Mr Cornelius Adumpo, Derrick Abakisi and Mr Robert Agaab led by Mr Robert Asekabta took turns to educate the Chiefs on the condition.
Some of the issues looked at include What Covid-19 is about, the signs and symptoms of the disease, how the disease is diagnosed, Misconceptions about COVID-19, National as well as global statistics and most importantly the preventive measures of the disease which include proper hand washing under running water with soap, the use of hand sanitizers, the  need to put on face masks and their proper use, the need to stick to the social distancing protocol, the need to cover ones nose and mouth with tissue or handkerchief and washing it regularly or bending your elbow to sneeze or cough in.
The team also took the chiefs through a demonstration on proper handwashing  and how to self-make tipy-taps in their homes to aid in hand washing.
The Chiefs were also given an opportunity to ask questions and make suggestions on what to do at preventing the disease from entering the Builsa Traditional area and also to minimize it's spread should it find it's way into the  traditional area.
The Ti-Yiak Covid-19 Tigsuk team presented 24 gallons of liquid soap, 31 bottles of hand sanitizers, 38 re-usable face masks, a plastic basin and a veronica bucket to the overlord and his Chiefs.
The team had earlier sensitized the Chiefs of Kaadema on the Covid-19 pandemic and presented 20 gallons of liquid soap, 30 bottles of hand sanitizers, a plastic basin and a veronica bucket to the Chiefs.
