HON.JAMES MOURICE ABAKISI
The people of Bobulizugu in the Chuchuliga electoral area of the Builsa north District of the Upper East Region have witnessed the drilling of a borehole as their share of the 18 boreholes lobbied to the Builsa North District by the New Patriotic Party's parliamentary candidate Mr James Maurice Abakisi to help mitigate the suffering people go through in search of water.
Members of the community were excited to see a contractor and eventually witnessing the drilling process of the borehole.
According to Mr James Maurice Abakisi, selection of communities to benefit from these first 18 boreholes hasn't been easy as there are more communities in die need of potable water. The distribution of this first batch of 18 boreholes are Five (5) for Sandema ,Four (4) for Wiaga, Three (3) for Chuchuliga, Three (3 ) for Kaadema and Three (3) Siniensi respectively.
These eighteen (18 ) boreholes are part of a list of projects Hon. Maurice James Abakisi took around government agencies and private entities such as MTN, Zongo Development fund, National Youth Agency, Northern Development Authority (NDA), National Communication Authority (NCA), the IGP's office, etc to solicit for funding and approval.
