BAASA YOUTH CALLS FOR CALM AS POLICE INVESTIGATE FUMBISI MURDER CASE.

A group calling itself Baasa Youth For Development from the Baasa community in the Builsa South District of the Upper East Region is calling for cool heads to prevail in the Builsa South District after one person's throat was Slit on Wednesday night leading to his death.
The group in a press release signed by it's Acting Secretary Mr. Gilbert  Anko, the  Assembly member for the Baasa community Hon Richard Abassisa and the acting president of the group Mr. Gibson Anankanbil expressed it's displeasure and condemned the murder of it's compatriot Mr. Agbedemnaab at Yarinsa a suburb of Fumbisi the District capital on 20th May, 2020.
The group whiles pledging to allow the law to work, has urged the District Police Command to urgently investigate and bring the perpetrators of the crime to book.
The victim one Agbedemnaab from the Baasa community in the Builsa South District was believed to have been murdered on Wednesday night by one Patrick Amaaba from Weisi.
The two according to reports were believed to be in an amorous relationship with one woman to which the culprit could not hold it and had to end it all on Wednesday night by cutting the throat of Agbedemnaab with a sharp object leading to his untimely death.
The body of Agbedemnaab has been deposited at the War Memorial Hospital mortuary in Navrongo for preservation. According to sources the family of the deceased are calling for the police to arrest the culprit before they burry the victim.
